  • awi – Google Code – This project has built AMFPHP services to provide straight forward interaction with the WordPress database through Flex/Flash GUIs. No updates since Feb 2007 and the only documentation I can find is in Spanish, but it works well and provides some good functional examples to use as a start for building my own.
  • Flash remoting for PHP: A responsive Client-Server Architecture for the Web – AMFPHP is a free open-source PHP implementation of the Action Message Format(AMF). It allows Flash, Flex and AIR applications to send and receive data from PHP/MySQL based content management systems and databases.

  • FriendFeed – FriendFeed aggregates all of your activity from sites like Flickr, Twitter, Delicious, Last.fm, YouTube and Vimeo into one place. It also provides an RSS feed with this combined content and a widget for embedding on any webpage. It also has an API for developer use which can return data in XML or JSON, nice.
