Pods : WordPress CMS Plugin – I haven't tried this yet but it looks like the best WordPress CMS plugin so far. Pods lets you create, manage, and display custom content types using WordPress. Like Drupal CCK, these content types can relate to one another, allowing for sites packed with interconnectedness. Automatic pagination, filtering, public forms, access control, menu editing and more are possible with the Pods CMS plugin. (via http://delicious.com/villains)

These are my links for January 20th:

PicardTagger – MusicBrainz – Picard is the next generation MusicBrainz tagging application. This new tagging concept is album oriented, as opposed to track/file oriented like the ClassicTagger was. Picard is written in Python, which is a cross-platform language, and makes use of cross-platform libraries – this allows the same code to run both on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
PHP MusicBrainz Library – The PHP MusicBrainz project is a port of libmusicbrainz3 from C++ to PHP. This is so that it can be used as the basis for web services that want to query music meta data, for example Facebook applications.
Welcome to MusicBrainz! – MusicBrainz – MusicBrainz is a user-maintained community music metadatabase. Music metadata is information such as the artist name, the release title, and the list of tracks that appear on a release. MusicBrainz collects this information about recordings and makes it available to the public. You can also use the MusicBrainz Tagger to automatically identify and clean up the metadata tags in your digital music collections.

The Auteurs – The Auteurs is an online movie theater where you watch, discover, and discuss auteur cinema. There are a few movies available for free viewing, hopefully this list will grow. The social networking aspect of the site looks quite cool and the profiles for directors and film titles look well done. (via Metafilter)

These are my links for August 10th:

WP CODA – A WordPress theme which uses jQuery to allow the user to browse through individual pages/tabs with an sliding animation. It looks all cool and flash like, but it removes the ability to permalink to a particular page. Still, could be a useful technique for the right kind of site.
FriendFeed – FriendFeed aggregates all of your activity from sites like Flickr, Twitter, Delicious, Last.fm, YouTube and Vimeo into one place. It also provides an RSS feed with this combined content and a widget for embedding on any webpage. It also has an API for developer use which can return data in XML or JSON, nice.

Ping.fm / Update all of your social networks at once! – Lets you update your status once and have it propagated through a variety of social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, LinkedIn…
plainview – mac-based full-screen browser – A full screen web browser based on webkit (same as safari). Really neat simple idea. Looks great for installations and perfect for VideoDefunct. There's something very calming about not being able to see the desktop, dock, other applications, windows etc.
