Online Communities Design Patterns – A slideshow outline of many common features of social media sites, their functions and design challenges.
Pods : WordPress CMS Plugin – I haven't tried this yet but it looks like the best WordPress CMS plugin so far. Pods lets you create, manage, and display custom content types using WordPress. Like Drupal CCK, these content types can relate to one another, allowing for sites packed with interconnectedness. Automatic pagination, filtering, public forms, access control, menu editing and more are possible with the Pods CMS plugin. (via http://delicious.com/villains)

These are my links for April 21st:

QuartzCrystal 1.3 | Kineme – QuartzCrystal is an application for rendering Quartz Compositions to QuickTime Movies and Image Sequences from Kineme. I've been getting back into Quartz Composer lately and it's amazing what it can do these days. QuartzCrystal is great for rendering compositions which are to complex to operate well in real time. It also supports additional antialiasing and motion blur options. Just bought a copy.

N.E.R.D.: Eject your Mac's CD tray from command line…… – I had to open the tray on the server at work today which has no keyboard or monitor directly connected. After SSHing in, this command did the trick: drutil eject

Create with Context – How people really use the iPhone – A pdf presentation based on a usability study of iPhone applications. via Overlobe
RjDj – This looks really really cool. It is an application and system for listening to generative music on the iPhone. Tracks or 'scenes' can respond to sounds in the listener's environment via microphone, sampling and incorporating them into the music in real time as well as motion data from the inbuilt accelerometers. Scenes can be created using open source audiovisual programming environment PD. Makes me really want an iPhone!

User Interaction 101 – A good, straightforward introduction to the topic.
Ping.fm / Update all of your social networks at once! – Lets you update your status once and have it propagated through a variety of social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, LinkedIn…
plainview – mac-based full-screen browser – A full screen web browser based on webkit (same as safari). Really neat simple idea. Looks great for installations and perfect for VideoDefunct. There's something very calming about not being able to see the desktop, dock, other applications, windows etc.
