93 page report on research carried out by the Nielsen Norman Group. Some good points on usability and design problems around the perceived affordances of on screen elements, navigation and gestures.

Create with Context – How people really use the iPhone – A pdf presentation based on a usability study of iPhone applications. via Overlobe
RjDj – This looks really really cool. It is an application and system for listening to generative music on the iPhone. Tracks or 'scenes' can respond to sounds in the listener's environment via microphone, sampling and incorporating them into the music in real time as well as motion data from the inbuilt accelerometers. Scenes can be created using open source audiovisual programming environment PD. Makes me really want an iPhone!

Adobe – Developer Center : Wireframing with Fireworks CS3 – I've been a big fan of Fireworks for ages and have used it in the design process of several websites but somehow missed the fact that it had a library of standard interface widgets built in, designed for wireframing sites and applications. Very handy. They're all 9 sliced so they scale nicely.

User Interaction 101 – A good, straightforward introduction to the topic.
Ping.fm / Update all of your social networks at once! – Lets you update your status once and have it propagated through a variety of social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, LinkedIn…
plainview – mac-based full-screen browser – A full screen web browser based on webkit (same as safari). Really neat simple idea. Looks great for installations and perfect for VideoDefunct. There's something very calming about not being able to see the desktop, dock, other applications, windows etc.
